The Giver/continuation

           But perhaps it was an echo. No, suddenly he heard another sound in a sick, deep voice. “Jonas, help me, help us.” Said the voice. “Who are you and where are  you coming from.” Said Jonas terrified as ever. “It’s me, The Giver.” “Where are you? And how-”. The Giver interrupted. ” The community is in danger. Ever since you left the community people started getting weak and sick?” Jonas was frightened and didn’t know what to do. “Why? Are my family okay, friends, you?”The Giver knew that Jonas got to elsewhere because he had certain and unknown feeling inside him. He couldn’t tell what it was until he tried harder and harder. He still had a way to help the community. He will search for a new Receiver and share his memories with him/her.

Meanwhile when Jonas finished talking to the Giver, he and Gabriel were in elsewhere, they felt really cold and they also started to get sick. Gabriel was shivering so much, it felt like he was beating Jonas with a rock. They thought that they heard searchers but but he was just hallucinating. The searchers couldn’t find them so they stopped searching.”Gabriel look I see someone. Maybe she can help us.” Jonas said as if Gabriel could understand him. ”Excuse me, do you know how to-.” Jonas was shocked. The girl  looked exactly like Fiona. She had the same face, the same body and the same exact hair.

           ”Get to where and? And why are you staring at me so much?” Said the girl. “Sorry it’s just that you look exactly like a friend of mine from my old community.” Said Jonas. ”Well can please like show me show me around because this is my first time hear.” “Of course, I would love. You and the baby look like you need a home a home somewhere to stay.

             The community is very beautiful and it looked like a Utopian community where everything was perfect. There was a lot of people that was very happy and playing around with their family and friends. Jonas was stunned how different the community was from his old  one. He kind of thought that community was better than his other.

               When the girl finished showing him around, she took him to her house. She told him sit next to the fire, and he took Jonas off his chest. “So where are you coming from?” The girl said. ”I’m actually coming from a different community.” Said Jonas. “Well where is your parents? Do they know that your here?” ”No…, Said Jonas. They don’t know where me or my baby brother is.” “Why?’ This girl really asks a lot of questions for looking like Fiona. “It’s kind of a long story but if you want to know I will really tell you.” Jonas started telling her about the community and every single thing even about the community and even about the Giver and him. She was amazed.

               When he finished telling her about the community and they all went to go have pizza. Jonas didn’t know what pizza was until he tasted it. “Mmm, delicious. What is this?” What you”ve never heard of pizza before?” Said the girl.”No because in my community we don’t have pi-i-i…,” “Pizza!” Said the girl laughing. Gabriel also liked it. He even wanted a second slice. They went back to her house and her mom was there. The girl’s mom was very beautiful and she had blond hair like Gabriel. She introduced him to her mother. “Mom, this is my friend…,” “Jonas.” Said Jonas very quickly. Oh really that’s my father’s name. ” That was a real coincidence. “And his baby brother…,” “Gabriel.” Said Jonas once more.

               ”Can they stay here because they don’t have anywhere to stay and they are really exhausted?” The girl was begging as hard as she can. “Of course can, as long as you guys don’t stay up too late; you know you have school tomorrow. ” Said the mother in a welcome voice. “And I’ll take care of Gabriel if you want me to. “Sure.” Said Jonas. Jonas felt really weird sleeping with her because the stirrings might come back.

                 The next day, they got dressed and went to school together. She introduced him to the class and teacher. They were excited to have a new student in the classroom. He learned a lot and the the homework was very easy. Throughout the years, they have been going out on dates and talking about relationships. When they grew up, they got married and had a baby girl named Lily and a boy named Asher. Gabriel waited a little bit longer to get married. By the way the girl’s name was Fiona. Was it really Fiona or was it just a twin who also ran out of the community? I’m going to leave that question hanging.
